Let’s walk in the FARFA RIVER then, heart of the Sabina region, a positive vibe will get us as soon as we start in the charming hamlet of Castelnuovo di Farfa, in the narrow streets with no vehicles remained the same from medieval age, then down the valley finally putting feet in the water. Sounds of joy, luxuriant plants, companies of dragonflies with astonishing colors try to connect with us. Not by chance Farfa river is mentioned by Ovid (one of the most popular classical Roman poet) in his “The Metamorphosys” in the mith of Pico and Canente, a beautiful and heart breaking story to tell along the walk.
